The mechanism is manufactured from mild steel plate pressed into a shape which gives the strength required to cater for various body weights. The mechanism operates on a coiled spring which is being compressed and de-compressed when going into the tilted position. The tension on the back tilt can be adjusted by means of a round plastic knob. The gas lever of the mechanism has a dual function which locks the mechanism in a forward position as well as operating the gas height adjustment. 
This is an entry level mechanism and is tested and approved to for use body weights up to 120 Kg.

The mechanism is imported from Donati Italy. The housing of the mechanism is manufactured from die cast aluminium and combined with a pressed steel footplate. The mechanism operates on a heavy duty coiled spring which is being compressed and de-compressed when going into the tilted position. The tension on the back tilt can be adjusted by means of a round plastic knob. The gas lever has a dual function which locks the mechanism in a forward position only, as well as operating the gas height adjustment.
The mechanism is tested and rated for use with body weights up 150 kg.

The mechanism is imported from Donati Italy. The housing of the mechanism is manufactured from die cast aluminium and combined with a pressed steel footplate. The main advantage of this mechanism is to enable the chair occupant to keep his feet on the ground when going into the tilted position due to the mechanisms tilting point almost under the knees , hence the name knee tilt mechanism. The mechanism can be locked in five different positions. The tension on the tilting action can be adjusted to suit the user's weight be means of a plastic adjustment knob. The plastic knob is used to compress and de-compress a heavy duty coiled spring. When sitting on the chair the right hand lever adjust the gas height, and the left hand lever locks and un-lock the backrest in various positions.
It is tested and rated for use with body weights up to 150 kg and 24 hr use.

Stool Mechanism Stool

This mechanism is used on the single seat industrial or dentist stools and is manufactured from pressed steel. It is fitted with a single lever to operate the gas height adjustment, and it has no tilt function.

It is tested and rated for use with body weights up to 120 kg.

Rake Adjustable Mechanism / Typist Mechanism Rake adjustable Typist Mechanism

The mechanism is of the U-channel type made out of machine press formed mild steel. The backrest of the mechanism is spring loaded and lockable in any position by means of a clutch system, it can be adjusted in the free floating position. The backrest bar is covered with an injection moulded plastic bellow (black). A set of mechanical clutches are used to lock the backrest forward or backward in the desired position. A fingertip lever with a nylon handle is lifted up or down to lock or unlock the clutches to adjust the backrest in the desired position. This can be done comfortably while in the seated position. the back bar can be adjusted up or down by means of a adjustment knob at the back of the mechanism. The height of the chair can be adjusted by means of a front leaver on the right hand side of the seat when Sitting on the chair.
The mechanism is rated for use with body weights up to 120 kg.
A mechanism with a weight capacity of 150 kg is available on demand. No tension adjustment available.

The mechanism is of the U-channel type made out of machine press formed mild steel. The backrest of the mechanism is spring loaded and lockable in any position by means of a clutch system, it can be adjusted in the free floating position which gives the backrest a permanent contact back feature with no movement of the seat. The tension of the backrest in the free floating position can be adjusted by means of a plastic knob that compress or de-compress a coil spring. The levers for the backrest adjustment and the gas height adjustment is situated on the right hand side of the seat when sitting down.

The mechanism is tested and rated for use with body weights up to 120 Kg.

 

Econo Synchro Mechanism Econo Synchro

This imported mechanism is manufactured from mild steel plate pressed into a shape which gives the additional strength required to cater for various body weights up to 120 kg. The mechanism has been engineered in such a way that the seat and backrest moves independently from each other when tilting the chair backwards. It also enables the user to keep his feet on the ground when going into the tilted position. The tension of the backrest when in the free floating mode is adjustable by means of a plastic knob which is turned up or down thus compressing and decompressing a heavy duty spring. The lever for the gas height adjustment and for the backrest movement is situated on the right side of the chair below the seat for easy usage when in the sitting position.
This is an entry level mechanism with a single lock function in the frontal position.

The mechanism has been engineered in such a way that the seat and backrest moves independently from each other when tilting the chair backwards. It also enables the user to keep his feet on the ground when going into the tilted position. The tension of the backrest when in the free floating mode is adjustable by means of a plastic knob which is turned up or down thus compressing and decompressing a heavy duty spring. The lever for the gas height adjustment is situated on the right side of the chair below the seat for easy usage when in the sitting position. The backrest can be locked in any position or left free floating, by means of a mechanical clutch system. The lever sits at the left back side of the seat when sitting in the chair.
This is an entry level to mid-level mechanism with a multiple single locking positions.

The mechanism is imported from the East. The housing of the mechanism is manufactured from die cast aluminium with a pressed steel footplate. The mechanism offers full synchro operation, and can be locked in 5 positions. The tension of the backrest when in the free floating mode is adjustable by means of a round plastic knob which is turned up or down thus compressing and decompressing a hardened heavy duty spring. The lever for the gas height adjustment is on the right hand side and the lever on the left hand side when seated, is there to lock and un-lock the backrest. The mechanism is a mid to upper range mechanism tested and rated for use with body weights up to 120 kg.
A seat slide option can be fitted at extra cost to enable the seat to slide forward and backward to create 60 mm more seat depth.

The mechanism has been engineered in such a way that the seat and backrest moves independently from each other when tilting the chair backwards. It also enables the user to keep his feet on the ground when going into the tilted position. The ratio between the movement of the backrest and seat is 2, 7: 1/for every 2, 7 degrees the backrest moves back, the seat tilts by 1 degree The mechanism is lockable in 5 positions. The tension of the backrest when in the free floating position is adjusted by means of a heavy duty spring that is compressed and depressed with the help of a side tensioning spindle that is turned either way. The spindle needs to be pulled out to the side to enable the tension to be adjusted. The height adjustment lever is on the right hand side, and the lever on the left hand side when seated is there to lock and un- lock the backrest movement. The mechanism is a top range mechanism tested and rated for use with body weights up to 150 kg and 24 hour use. A seat slide Model option is available at extra cost. It has an extra paddle on the right hand front of the mechanism to enable the seat to slide forward and backward to create 60 mm more seat depth, when seating a person with long legs or a person that require extra seat depth adjustment.
